Friday the 1th of August I arrived in Lake Louise in the early evening. The weather wasn't the best and that was probably the reason why I thought other lakes which I've seen during my trip look more beautiful than famous Lake Louise but I still got some good shots of it. Because all campgrounds in Lake Louise were full and other accomodation was overprised, I dicided to drive further direction Banff finaly I could get a spot at the Johnston Canyon Campground which was perfect to discover the Johnston Canyon early the next morning.

Johnston CanyonAround noon I arrived in Banff and because it was a long weekend it was very difficult to find a place to stay overnight. Finally I found a campground about 15km out of town. I stayed for two days in Banff which is a very touristy place and they don't have a lot of tourist attractions more little things they tried to set up as tourist attraction. But over all it was a nice weekend downtown Banff is quiet interesting with all the candy and souvenir shops.
